In the prestigious setting of the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, Salviati presented an exhibition dedicated to the history of their production. Founded in 1859, Salviati is among the most prestigious glass manufacturers in Venice. For over 150 years they have consolidated their glass-making technique and have laid bridges with avant-garde art by collaborating with international designers. Salviati is considered today among the masters of the Muranese glass legacy.

The project visually expressed the nature of the territory, the multitude of techniques, the connection with water, the integral importance of shapes and colours, and the malleability of this fascinating material.

The works on display were a celebration of Salviati’s long-standing tradition of excellence in working with glass as well as revealing a more contemporary and collaborative aspect of the company with pieces from their recent partnership with lifestyle brand La DoubleJ, one of the Italian leading online boutiques.
